About Me

I've had the privilege of tattooing in the city I've always called home—Denton, Texas. What started as a passion when I was a teenager has grown into a lifelong career centered around art, craftsmanship, and helping people tell their stories through tattoos.

My artistic background extends beyond tattooing. I attended UNT's Visual Arts program and later studied 3D modeling and animation for video game design. Combined with decades of independent study and countless hours spent refining my craft, these experiences have shaped the way I approach every tattoo—with equal parts creativity, technical precision, and problem-solving.

Today, my wife and I own and operate Hereafter Oddities & Tattoos, a space that reflects many of the things we're passionate about. Downstairs, we've created a curiosity shop filled with oddities, antiques, crystals, taxidermy, local art, and unique treasures. Upstairs is our thriving tattoo studio, where we get to do what we love every day. My wife is also an incredibly talented tattoo artist, and building this business together has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.

Outside the studio, I'm a husband and the proud father of four amazing children, two of whom joined our family through the foster care system. Becoming a parent has shaped the way I connect with people. It has taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of listening—qualities I bring into every consultation and every tattoo.

While I enjoy creating a wide range of custom work, what I love most is collaborating with clients to design tattoos that truly belong to them. I believe great tattoos aren't just about creating beautiful artwork—they're about making thoughtful decisions that will still look strong, balanced, and meaningful decades from now. I take the time to educate my clients on what works, what doesn't, and why, so they can make informed decisions they'll be proud of for the rest of their lives.

To me, tattooing has never been just about putting ink in the skin. It's about creating artwork that tells a story, complements the body, stands the test of time, and becomes a meaningful part of someone's life. After nearly three decades, I still feel incredibly fortunate that I get to call this my career.
